Terms of Use — Weather Happiness

By downloading, installing, or using Weather Happiness ("the app") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Weather Happiness on Apple devices you own or control, per the Apple App Store Terms. This license is also governed by Apple's standard EULA (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/), incorporated by reference; where it conflicts with these Terms regarding installation/use on Apple devices, Apple's EULA controls.
2. Weather Happiness Premium Subscription
2.1 What Premium Includes
All anime/Ghibli-inspired themes, advanced Daily Briefing, unlimited Day Plans + full history, plan templates, and export/share cards. Free users keep the Meadow Breeze theme, the full weather dashboard, Style, Discover, Mind, and up to 3 active Day Plans.
2.2 Pricing

Prices show in your local currency via the App Store and may vary by region and change over time.
2.3 Free Trial
The Yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers (managed by Apple). At the end of the trial it auto-converts to $39.99/year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. One trial per Apple ID per subscription group.
2.4 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions auto-renew at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
2.5 How to Cancel
Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Weather Happiness → Cancel, or https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Access continues until the end of the paid period. Refund requests go to Apple via https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
2.6 Family Sharing
Premium is not Family Sharing-enabled at this time.
2.7 Restore Purchases
Use Restore Purchases in the paywall (handled by StoreKit) with the same Apple ID used to purchase.
3. Weather & Location Disclaimer
Weather is from Apple WeatherKit, for general information only. Do not rely on Weather Happiness for safety-critical decisions (severe-weather evacuation, aviation, maritime, industrial). Forecasts are inherently uncertain; we make no warranty of accuracy or timeliness. Place results are from Apple MapKit and may be incomplete or outdated — verify with the venue.
4. User Content
Notes and journal entries are stored only on your device. You own this content; we cannot access or recover it. You are responsible for what you create and must not store illegal or infringing content.
5. Account & Sign in with Apple
You may use the app with Sign in with Apple or as a guest. We store only an opaque Apple-provided identifier locally; your Apple ID password is never accessible to us. Revoke access via Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → Weather Happiness.
6. Prohibited Uses
No reverse-engineering, unlawful use, circumventing entitlement checks, reselling/sublicensing, or violating Apple's App Store guidelines.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding are owned by the Weather Happiness developer. Studio Ghibli, Totoro, Spirited Away, Ponyo, and Kiki's Delivery Service are trademarks of Studio Ghibli Inc. Weather Happiness is an independent app, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Studio Ghibli Inc. The theme names and motifs are original works inspired by an aesthetic spirit, not the studio's assets.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, AND TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PRIOR TWELVE MONTHS. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.
9. Governing Law
Governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles; disputes resolved in the applicable courts except where law requires otherwise.
10. Changes & Contact
